Pep Guardiola has been advised not to go wandering down any dark alleys anywhere outside Catalonia, lest he gets his lights knocked out by Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Ibra, who clearly doesn’t believe in the concept of ‘moving on’, had apparently this to say to an AC Milan club representative.
“I will only sign if you say one thing to Guardiola: if we ever meet outside Catalonia, I’ll knock him out”
Which, you have to agree, is rather an awkward message for any club representative to have to deliver. While no one likes the idea of having a 6 foot 5 inch Taekwondo black belt stalker waiting to sock you in the eye, we don’t think Pep Guardiola is intimidated. We suspect his hypnotic skills will come in handy for such sticky situations. Still, maybe it’s a good thing that we didn’t draw AC Milan in the next round for Champions League.
